Seahawk Raffle info
It’s that time of year again but this year we’re making our Seahawk raffle bigger and better than ever. It’s going to last all season long and as far into the playoffs as they go. Our goal is to have at least one Seahawk item to raffle off every week. You’ll have to check in here on our website to see who wins each week.
Prize List:
– Club level tickets to Green Bay season opener game
– Club level tickets to the hated SF 49er game
– Club level tickets to random other game/s including playoff games should we be so lucky (to be announced)
– Jerseys. We’ll have lots of them this year. You pick the size and the player if you win.
– Footballs, gloves, and who knows what else may turn up. Check back at this site for regular updates as to the latest items.
How to get your name (ticket) in the drawing:
– One ticket for every adjustment
– 5 tickets for every massage
– 10 tickets for referring in a new patient
– New patient also gets 10 tickets for coming in
Drawings will be every week starting the first week of the regular season. If your name doesn’t get drawn, your tickets will still remain in the drawing for the entire duration of the contest (lets hope all the way to the Superbowl)! So give the gift of health and win some cool stuff.

Autism Awareness Month
Spencer Chiropractic Center, Seahawks, Autism and YOU!
It’s Autism Awareness Month and I wanted to put up a quick post to alert all our patients and friends to come in, get adjusted, and help support an amazing cause. We will be taking the afternoon of Thursday, April 24th (from 3:00-6:00pm) to provide adjustments where the only charge will be an optional donation to Ben’s Fund. We won’t bill your insurance or take a cash payment–you pay only the amount you are comfortable donating. 100% of your donation will go to Ben’s Fund and autism.
Instead of making this post 5 pages long, I’m going to just touch on our event, the Seahawk’s ‘Prime Time’ event, and autism. I have provided links below that will allow you to read in much greater detail on any or all of the points from this post.
Autism is the fastest-growing serious developmental disability in the US. It affects 1 in 68 children (males at a much higher rate of 1 in 42). I would wager that there is not a single person reading this post that doesn’t know someone directly affected. The point I would like to focus on is the incredible cost involved. The average expense to the family of a child with Autism is $60,000 a year. Ben’s Fund is a local charity started by the Seahawks General manager John Schneider and his wife Traci. The Schneider’s son Ben was diagnosed with Autism 11 years ago. After seeing the immense challenges faced by both the child and families, they started Ben’s Fund. Ben’s Fund is a charity that provides grant opportunities and helps cover costs associated with medical bills, therapies, and numerous other aspects of supporting children with autism.
The signature event they hold each year is called Prime Time. It is a celebrity waiter dinner hosted by El Gaucho’s Restaurant. The night includes a silent auction and evening of interaction with many of the Seahawk players and coaches. Then we sit down to a dinner where the players and coaches serve as our waiters and the live auction takes place.
I was fortunate enough to have been able to attend this event last year and will be going back again for this years event taking place next week. Last year I was struck with how many players attended, how generous they were with their time and how incredibly engaging and nice they were with all of us in attendance.
I look forward to seeing you all this Thursday!
Yours in Health,
Dr. Phil
